Sarah Kelly is a strong Godly woman who is always working on the call that God has placed on her life to equip worship leaders, teach all ages to write worship music and ultimately find any way possible to sow into the body of Christ. She not only stands on her God-given talent, but also on her conviction to witness into people's lives through the worship music she writes and performs.
Kelly, who grew up in Rockford, IL, began her musical career when she wrote her first songs at the age of seven. As a young child, people began to recognize that she had a gift although until she grew older, she never pursued those gifts outwardly. At the age of fourteen, Kelly found herself playing the piano in her Assembly of God church and at seventeen even became a piano teacher for students age five and up. This grew into her having 200 students. It was at that time that God placed a calling on her life to reach out by teaching others to write their own worship songs.
Following the calling to promote worship, her Pastor at that time from her church noticed and asked her to lead worship. Kelly was reluctant for many years, but eventually conquered her fears and doubts in herself and changed her thinking. Instead of thinking about herself, she sought God's approval over everyone else. That faith in Christ helped her get through those struggles and led her down the path she stands on today. At that point in her life, she stood up for Christ and saw amazing things happen. She was part of a revival that led her youth group to grow from 30 kids to a 1000! It was at this time with the encouragement of her now husband and the persistence of her Pastor that she agreed to be the worship leader.
As she grew older, she found herself teaching songwriting at the renowned Rockford Masters Commission which brings students in from all over the world.
