Possibly best know for songs like Jesus, Lover of my soul (It’s all about you), Be Lifted Up, Jesus, Friend of Sinners and more recently Father Me and Crimson Stream, Paul Oakley, based at Newfrontiers’ Church of Christ the King, Brighton, (England) has a huge catalogue of successful songs behind him. With eight albums to his credit and songs on collaboration albums with Matt Redman, Tim Hughes and Stuart Townend, Paul has also co-written with a number of other writers including Charlie Hall, Aaron Keys and Kelly Minter. Paul has travelled extensively with his ministry, in Canada and the U.S. as well as all over UK, Europe and recently, China. His song Jesus, Friend of sinners was recently featured in the Warner Bros Harrison Ford movie, Firewall. Paul is married to Sarah and they have three children.
